Technical SEO Audit: What You Get and What It Costs

Direct answer: A good technical SEO audit gives you evidence for every finding and a list ranked by priority. Ours starts at $490 for up to 10 pages or 1 app flow, delivered in 5 business days.
What our audit covers
You receive a PDF and a CSV that show what holds back your search visibility, what frustrates visitors, and what to fix first. The audit report checks six areas:
- Conversion and sales funnel
- SEO and AI-search visibility
- Security
- Speed
- Legal and privacy
- Measurement
Every finding points to evidence: a URL, a screen, a status code, a tag or a measured value. We do not pad the report with general advice. You get a score for each area, an overall score and a priority list from P0 to P3.
The technical SEO checklist
The SEO part of the audit follows these groups. They match the general practices in Google's SEO starter guide.
| Group | What we check |
|---|---|
| Indexing | Can search engines find and index the important pages? Any stray noindex rules? |
| Status codes and redirects | Errors, redirect chains and loops, internal links to dead pages |
| Canonicals | Canonical tags, duplicate page versions, conflicting signals |
| Sitemap and robots.txt | Missing or blocked pages, outdated sitemap entries |
| Structured data | Is it present and valid? |
| Speed | Page weight, slow resources, server response |
| Mobile | Viewport, tap targets, layout shifts |
| Internal links | Click depth, orphan pages, clear link text |
Treat it as a working map, not a pass-or-fail test. Not every item matters equally for every site. A five-page brochure site rarely has crawl-depth problems, while a large shop often does, so the priority list reflects your actual site and not a generic template.
How scoring and priorities work
We score each of the six areas from passive checks that need no special access. Each finding then gets a priority:
- P0: blocks indexing, buying or consent.
- P1: clearly hurts visibility, speed or trust.
- P2: worth fixing soon, but nothing breaks.
- P3: polish.
A person reviews every finding before it goes into the report. We may use AI tools to speed up the checks, but nothing reaches you unreviewed, and AI output can be wrong. Where a finding touches legal risk, we describe what we saw and leave the judgement to your lawyer.
AI search and technical SEO
Google says there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode. A page needs to be indexed and eligible to show a snippet, and the usual SEO best practices apply. You can read this in Google's documentation on AI features.
So we treat AI-search visibility as part of normal technical hygiene: indexable pages, clear content and valid markup. We cannot promise a place in AI answers. We check the things that make a page eligible.
Why the report comes with evidence
A list of vague warnings is easy to produce and hard to act on. We attach the proof to each finding, such as the address of the page, the screen or the value we measured. That lets your developer reproduce the problem in minutes, and it lets you challenge a finding if you disagree with it.
Audit prices
The price depends on scope, not hours, so you can approve a budget before we start.
| Tier | Price | Delivery | Scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | $490 | 5 business days | Up to 10 pages or screens, or 1 app flow. PDF and CSV, 1 language, 30-minute walkthrough, 1 re-scoring within 30 days |
| M | $890 | 8 business days | Up to 30 pages or screens, or 2 app flows, plus a comparison with 2 competitor sites |
| L | $1,690 | 12 business days | Up to 100 pages or screens, or 4 app flows (sampled), up to 2 languages |
Each extra 10 pages cost $150. Prices are excl. VAT.
What we do not do
The audit uses passive, permitted checks only. We do not run penetration tests, review your source code or give legal opinions. For security we look at what is visible from outside, such as HTTPS setup and exposed files, and we do not try to break in. That keeps the price fixed and the work safe for you.
After the audit
The audit ends with a decision that is yours. You can hand the priority list to your own developer. The CSV sorts findings by priority, location and area, so work on P0 items can start right away.
If you would rather have us fix them, order the Quick Fix Pack on our fix and care page. If you order within 30 days, the audit fee is credited against the fix invoice, up to 50% of the fix price. How we work explains the steps.
If your main question is whether ChatGPT and other AI answers can find and cite your site, read the GEO audit guide.
