Fixed-Price Web Design: What a Small Business Site Costs

Direct answer: A small business website with a fixed price starts at $1,490 for up to five pages and goes up to $5,990 for an e-commerce or member site. Timelines run from 2–3 weeks for the smallest package to 8–12 weeks for the largest, and prices exclude VAT.
Why website quotes vary so much
Two quotes for "a website" can be thousands of dollars apart. The gap rarely comes from the agency. It comes from scope, and scope is what a fixed price has to spell out in writing.
Four things move the price most:
- Pages: a five-page site is a different job from a forty-page service site.
- Languages: one language is simple. Two or three mean translated menus, URLs and content.
- Integrations: a contact form is standard. A booking system, payment gateway or CRM connection adds work.
- Revision rounds: each round of feedback costs time, so the number should be fixed up front.
If a quote does not name these four, it is not really a fixed price. It is a guess that can grow later.
There is a simple test. Ask what happens if you want one more page, or one more round of changes. A real fixed price has a ready answer, because the limits were written down at the start. A vague quote has to improvise, and improvising usually costs you money.
Our three fixed packages
We sell websites in three tiers. Each one has a page limit, a language count, a timeline and a price.
| Package | Scope | Timeline | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | Up to 5 pages, 1 language, contact form, basic SEO, 2 revision rounds | 2–3 weeks | $1,490 |
| M | Up to 15 pages, blog, 2 languages, advanced SEO and measurement, 3 revision rounds | 4–6 weeks | $2,990 |
| L | E-commerce or member system, 3 languages, integrations, integration tests | 8–12 weeks | $5,990 |
Every package includes go-live, a backup and a rollback plan, plus a contact form aligned with GDPR and KVKK. Details are on our website development page.
What the price does not include
Four items are always outside the package:
- Domain name
- Hosting
- Third-party licences
- Copywriting
You buy the first three yourself or we arrange them separately. Texts are yours to supply. Anything else outside the written scope is quoted separately, in writing, before we start on it.
Be careful with quotes that look much cheaper than the rest. Often the difference is not efficiency. It is that hosting, texts, extra languages or revision rounds are missing from the price and will appear on a later invoice.
A website price also does not buy rankings, traffic or sales. We set up SEO properly, but results depend on your market, your competitors and many things we do not control.
Six questions to ask any agency
Use these before you sign with us or anyone else.
- Is the scope written page by page? You should see a list of pages and main functions, not "a modern website".
- How many revision rounds are included? Get the number in writing.
- Is there a backup and a rollback plan for go-live? If the launch fails, you need a way back to the working version.
- Is mobile covered, and how does the form handle consent? Ask what data it collects and why. For the legal side, ask a lawyer.
- What does "SEO" mean in this quote? At minimum: page titles, descriptions, clean URLs, and a structure search engines can read. Google's SEO starter guide lists these basics.
- What happens to extra requests? A new page or feature should get its own written price.
If the agency uses AI for drafts or planning, ask who reviews the output. A person should always check it before it goes live.
Which package fits which situation
These examples are hypothetical. Treat them as a way to test your own needs, not as a recommendation.
- A freelance consultant who needs a one-language site with a contact form fits S.
- A service company that wants two languages, a blog and proper measurement fits M.
- A shop owner who needs a checkout, three languages and links to other systems fits L.
If you are unsure, our services overview shows how building, auditing and ongoing care fit together.
After go-live
A site needs updates, backups and small content changes. We offer monthly care from $149 per month, with a minimum of three months. It covers a fixed number of small fixes and regular checks, so you do not need a new quote every time.
If you already have a live site and are not sure what is wrong with it, an audit report starts at $490 and gives you a scored, prioritised list.
FAQ
What is the cheapest fixed-price website package?
The S package at $1,490 excl. VAT. It covers up to five pages, one language, a contact form, basic SEO, two revision rounds, go-live, a backup and a rollback plan.
How long does a website build take?
S takes 2–3 weeks, M takes 4–6 weeks and L takes 8–12 weeks. Late content or slow feedback can stretch these times.
Are domain, hosting and copywriting included?
No. Domain, hosting, third-party licences and copywriting are not included. Other work outside the scope is quoted separately in writing.
Is the contact form legally compliant?
The form is built in line with GDPR and KVKK. Whether it meets the rules for your specific business is a question for your lawyer.
Do you guarantee rankings, traffic or sales?
No. We set up SEO and measurement, but we cannot promise results.
